That said, I would be lying if I said that I wasn't interested in the gains that this upgrade offers. I (like many others on here) cannot justify the costs involved with purchasing a genuine YEC ECU or having the reflash service done to my stock unit. The YEC reflash and software being leaked to the public was the topic of this thread some time ago and as I said. I like the fact that I can delve deeper into the YEC ecu and influence the characteristics and performance of my bike, in the same way the public as a whole is starting to get to grips with fueling modules. I am glad that you are satisfied with your ecu flash. This forum like so many other forums are awash with inquiring minds. They learn how to calibrate fuel modules, ecu, build and modify engines. Type 2 is very interested in what makes things work and how they work. Type 1 just wants to ride and couldn't care less about what makes a bike run, as long as it runs. But I find there are two types (with some in the middle ground) of biker. I kinda half agree with what you say re: public as a whole unable to calibrate fuel modules. Otherwise Jett and the eBay guy wouldn't be offering the service. Can also be adjusted manually during dyno tuning. The cost effectiveness has been sorted at this stage, I think. The range of injection’s adjustments is from -100% to +150% of the stock injection time. Signal of the stock O2 sensor (lambda) while riding the bike. The Evo module’ s most important benefit is the so-called Auto-adaptive feature, that is the ability to correct automatically the injection map adjustment by reading the It can remove the speed limiter and to increase the rpm limiter up to 1000 rpm more than the stock one (both features are not available for all bike models). The Evo module is universal (same as RACE module), this means that it can be installed on all the motorcycle models listed in the applications list (once it is properly programmed using the professional software RapidBike Master PRO (sold only to dealers/tuners). Standard, therefore it will not try to re-set the stock engine parameters. Due to RapidBike exclusive technology for the modulation of the stock lambda signal the main ECU considers this behavior as Modulating the stock O2 sensor (lambda) signal is a technology far more advanced than the so called “O2 sensor eliminator” (or any other similar device used by the competitors) since they send a static/constant signal which is in conflict with the typical behavior of the lambda sensors, therefore causing the main ECU to perceive such a constant signal as a mistake to be corrected. The adjustments set by RapidBike EVO improve the engine efficiency in order to reach the best performance. The self-correction process is set in multipoint technology according to RPM and TPS, for the whole range of the engine working, even when the original RPM limiter is raised (when available). When riding the motorcycle, the self-adaptive feature determines the automatic self-correction of the air/fuel ratio maps: this active management is added up to the pre-set parameters. The purpose of the O2 sensor (lambda) modulation is to prevent the stock ECU from recognizing the adjustment applied by the RapidBike module to the injection map without any further attempts to re-set the stock parameters matching the criteria fixed by the restrictive exhaust gas emission laws. The Evo module manages up to 8 injectors and modulates the signal up to two O2 sensors (up to 2 lambdas). Kit including the RapidBike Evo module and the USB cable and model specific wiring harness. All RapidBike products are for closed-course competition use only.
